Anyone know any couriers that will carry oil?

Everywhere I look Im getting tripped up by silly T+Cs

Contemplating just saying its something comepltely different lol

Most automotive oils aren't classified as dangerous for transport, there are exceptions.
A quick google on the brand/grade of oil your looking at with the word msds should throw up the relevant information regarding transport.
Just make sure it is a clp compliant msds as that is now a European agreement, anything from 2015 was enforced (unless it was old stock). CLP is the red diamonds if any hazards are present - old one was the orange squares.

Couriers i know that transport non hazardous oil are:
UPS
Fedex
TNT
DPD

It's not that the goods are hazardous, it's if they leak they potentially damage/disrupt the hundreds of millions of pounds of sortation machinery at the hubs.

And no, DPD don't knowingly allow you to send oil through the network.
Or any liquids, it's in their not acceptable goods section on their website.

The only ad hoc carrier who provides a service to carry liquids is APC with their LQ service.

Very strange as dpd deliver oil to my work most days, the goods are described as oil also.
TNT are allowed to carry hazardous material and UPS pick up 20 litre drums of oil from my work every other day - in a drum so its hard not to miss it.
Its also described as oil when booking in.

They'll happily deliver paint as well some of which would probably do just as much damage if it leaked.

Just do what Hobby King does with their lipo batteries - send it royal mail and don't tell them ;-)
