Have they substantially lowered the quality of Nesquik over the years?

Shock as years later:

Things that cost the same are of lower quality

Things that taste and cost the same per packet, have a smaller packet

Things that are of the same packet size and taste the same, cost more

Companies should just forget about keeping the same margins and should be charities for the little man:mad::mad:

INB4 'i remember when people were paying me to take freddos home from the corner shop!

When I make my kids a milkshake with nesquik I pour the milk into a milk frother, you know the ones you can get to froth your milk for your coffee. Anyway, I turn the frother on, and add the powder in while the lid is off.

No lumps, at the bottom of the glass. Ever. And, It really thickens the shake up !

standard isnt it with most great things.companies grow try and squeeze every penny out to make more profit end up making whatever food product worse.

pot noodles
chocolate bars
cerals

whatever.

choc bars that are great also seem to get ended.so many great cadbury bars for eg just get finished even though they better than the newer range :(

But they dont cost the same

Cost the same to when?

I fail to see the injustice when people complain about something not being the same price after 20 years

What?

Now youre just contradicting yourself.

First you say people shouldnt be surprised thst things are smaller becsuse they cost the same.

Now your daying people shouldnt be surprised things have gotten more expensive (this actually should be surprising given advances in pretty much every area from farming to engine efficiency).

But the point is these things are now smaller and more expensive

Not really a contradiction, things cost more. The things that only cost a bit more, are made smaller to make up for it.

Advancements of machinery/farming and all that is great if your a big business that operates from farm to retail (and can afford to implement all these advancements) but most companies are not and the cost of everything generally has gone up.

Agree on the water in meat.

One of the reasons i eat very little meat these days. Meat is not meant to have water injected into it to make it look nice.

This is the supermarkets doing this effecting the change, then have the audacity to see by weight. Hell you can even look at the packet and it will say no more than 30% water by volume 30% !

I stick to Quorn now tbh for most meals.

oh and for the record nesquik is minging. Milkshake syrup is much nicer :)

I wouldn't know I havn't drunk Nesquick since I was about 7 years old, I figure I'm all grown up now.

Lots of products have been reduced in weight/size, even the bog roll has shrunk in width.

Penguin biscuits, Club biscuits. The chocolate was so thick on Club you used to be able to chisel it off with your teeth leaving just the biscuit. The things we did for fun as kids eh?!
