Upcoming football sex abuse scandel

Surprised there is not a topic on this. Matt Le Tissier has come forward claiming he was abused in some shape or form.

Growing up in a reasonably passoniate football town this doesn't really surprise me. Always thought after about U16 level that it turned into a showcase of self glory and greed, hence I kept away from it.

Is this a shock anymore?

Our PE teacher/Football coach had a thing for standing in the door of the showers whilst we were all in there. A few years later he crossed the line completely and touched up the wrong lad up who proceeded to knock him the **** out.

What had happened was common knowledge, but nothing more was done about it.
