Funny how everyone who got called a bot ended up top of the table
yeah and the VK scout...who I helped an awful lot in the middle at the start...was calling me a noob and to be reported....funny old game indeed

People just don't like when you don't do exactly what they want and will never ever blame themselves for anything that goes wrong.
It's why the player base doesn't improve really. If people actually learned from their mistakes rather than throwing abuse at others people might actually be ok by now!

yea theres always some manchild who dies then has a go at someone else.. anyone who shows any kind of patience and restraint is usually a BOT.
people used to camp a hell of a lot more years ago atleast until one team started to win these days at least half your team will just rush and die in the first minutes

I remember way back when the IS-7 and Maus were the only tier 10 tanks there were so many people who used the IS-7, would charge forward from the beginning because of it's speed, die within 1 minute then proceed to call the rest of the team noobs for not supporting them.
The IS-7 was much faster than any other tier 9 or 10 at the time so it made effective support impossible!

Well I'm joining SirHavoc tonight on his Livestream which is mental - 1 of the Community Contibutors and someone with almost 10k followers has asked me to join him for his stream tonight.

And I'm havign a lot of fun in WoT now I've no CW / Clan presure's just logging on clicking stream and just playing for fun

Play WZ120 stock, is exactly the same tank. Then come back with your findings.

Yeah but what makes or breaks the Type 59 is that it's T8 and has preferential MM. While it has received some small nerfs over the years I think the biggest problem has just been the power creep and shifting meta. With the latest introduction of the French Emily and Super Super Pershing at T8, it just got that bit more competitive as well.
That and there's a lot of hype around it with everyone thinking it's invincible since it seems to be the top prize for just about any competition. It's still not a bad tank by any stretch of imagination but gun handling does leave much to be desired, not to mention I believe it has the joint worst penetration on any medium tank.

The Type59 has a terrible gun (not talking about damage and pen) which misses a lot, especially at range. People who think it is overpowered don't own one.
All it has is preferential MM.
Of all the black tanks I might pick up the Mutz, will see how much it is.

Yeah it's the only T8 premium I have and only one of two tanks I've actually paid money for. With me almost reaching 12k battles now, over 1k of those are in the Type and little sick of it to be fair and definitely not a machine it used to be. Was overpowered back in the day and with the gun stats I'd say it's just slightly better than average with its MM.
Saying that after so many battles and crew on 4 skills I do know the tank inside out along with its capabilities and that's where a lot of people who own this tank also are which probably helps the illusion of it being this supposedly unicum OP beast.
Just a shame I can't do much with the crew as the Chinese medium line looks underwhelming and almost redundant with so many great Soviet mediums in the game. Dropping big alpha bombs is probably fun but not with that DPM and gun stats.

What is the strength of the armor on the AMX M4 49 L?
Seems like a rather good Premium tank when it comes to armor, the only thing is that everyone I've come up against is spewing gold at me. Based on that I can only assume that the Pen isn't up to much?

Ok, really starting to get annoyed with artillery in this game now. It seems like no matter what class of tank I play and no matter how mobile I am I get targetted by artillery constantly. Honestly, do I have a beacon on me which makes artillery focus me or something? Just had a game in the FV4202P (bottom tier), moving around quite a lot as well as in and out of cover and the FV304 on the enemy team is just constantly trying to hit me from start to finish rather than the five heavy tanks on my team who are sat a lot more out in the open than I am. That's not taking in to consideration every other tank on my team. Every game there is artillery I might as well type in chat "Don't worry guys, arty will target me first so have a good one". Luckilly the FV304 didn't get me in the end, but I just can't help but wonder why they don't focus at least something top tier which is a much easier target. Light tank? I'm the target. Medium tank? I'm the target. Heavy tank? Definitely the target. Tank Destroyer? Still the target. I'm only safe from artillery when I play artillery it seems.
Rant over. Only good thing from today was playing Erlenburg as a standard battle in the Tiger 2. Leave the spawn and a friendly light tank spots an AMX 12t rushing up to the castle to try and get spots on my team. I turn and fire the gun on the move (most of the way across the map) damage him and track him at the same time for extra points

To be fair in case of Bert, they will always go for squishier targets and avoid hitting heavily armoured tanks.
I think the armour is something like 230mm+ effective and turret is even tougher bar that big tasty cupola. I'd say there actually isn't much point wasting money on premium rounds in the AMX, think it's something like 232mm vs 260mm penetration?
