We should just stop sending money and sever all ties with immediate effect,

I'm sure that would work out brilliantly for us.

I really hate that the "money we send to the EU" has become a major talking point in the referendum debate. As if we get nothing in return for it.

It's like owning a shop where you rent the property. One day you get sick of "sending money to the landlord" and decide to stop paying because they're not giving you anything in return - except perhaps a small rebate because you regularly overpay your gas bill.

Then they evict you and you lose access to all those customers you once had, yet decide instead to complain about how "unfair" they're being.

Leave and even more leave now, the EU looks like it's about to implode and the temper tantrums of "Well be tough on UK to stop others from leaving" from the EU side are very totalitarian,

You don't understand what totalitarianism is.

Leave and still leave.

Lost two mates over it as well and Spanish girlfriend wasn't too happy haha.

Suck it up, acting like little children.

I voted remain and would still vote remain.

Mainly because the leave side never came up with any sort of sensible, or even generally accepted idea of exactly what they wanted to leave (everything being in the EU entails, or just the governing body of the EU, or the governing body and easy movement between states but remaining in the single market/customs zone etc).

If there had been a serious discussion from the leave camp on if it was going to be a hard exit, or keeping certain aspects the decision would have been easier.

Personally I still think a lot of people who voted leave are going to be disappointed when things don't improve for them immediately, or in fact get worse in the short to mid term.

I didn't vote (I never vote) but one thing I do know is that all the people I know who voted leave, thought no more immigrants were coming in, some would be sent home and all those billions we send to Europe would now be used for the NHS etc

I never vote, but this was one thing that was actually worth voting on.

So I made and exception.

No - I thought it would close off EU free movement - immigration would still occur like it does now but the free for all on the EU side would stop and they would apply to come here like everyone else.

So thats all the people -1

No one has yet, he's just being melodramatic.

Well my GBP savings have lost about 10-15% of their value in EUR terms. Which is pretty significant when you live and work in the EU.

The British-based multinational company I work for has lost a decent portion of business and people have been laid off. I'm worried about the future.

Remain and still Remain.
I’ll try not to rant

I may have voted leave if I actually knew what it meant, if it was to stay in EG single market access but we would lose XYZ blah blah.

So I don’t see how I can vote for something that I don’t even have a rough idea of what the consequences are other than it will be different.

Taking a most extreme example if you voted leave for closed boarders and wanted single market access but got open borders and lost single market access. Would you be complaining? But you got a brexit just not the one you thought you would get.

The whole thing has been shambolic from the start and we have all been made to look like fools.

Leave and still leave, the joke is that people in Europe was shocked at us voting out, i have friends in France and Germany and they seem to be so brain washed on the EU.

Voted remain, and would again,

However - since leave won, we should be getting on with it in a sensible, well judged fasion - none of this multicoloured brexit nonense, just a transparent open discussion about how to proceed that results in a fair non-destructive deal.

I have had it up to the ears with all the infighting and silly names like "Brexiteers" and "Bremoaners". We are as good as leaving, and while I would love not to, a u-turn at this point would cause utter havock. So lets get on with like adults.

Leave and more leave. The boxing stance the EU has taken following the result is indicative of whats to come.

Cameron went to negotiate to keep us in. Got kicked to the curb and sent back with watered down water.

We vote to leave, and still, all they give us is threats and posturing.

Does this really sound like an EU who wants Britain? No, instead they have been circling the water looking how to undermine the city and how they can carve up the spoils.
