Not a frequent user of EBay and never had any issues, but i think i'm about to get scammed - just a feeling.

Listed 2 x Move controllers and a charging dock and went within an hour or 2 for £99.99 delivered.

Buyer paid via paypal instantly and has 140 100% feedback.

My mistake - i have sent it regular mail. Was in autopilot, busy post office and just got proof of posting; no tracked, no signature.

Anyway, google buyers name and address - pretty rough area of Barnsley and was done for Drink Drive in 2013.

I think in a couple of days i'm going to get a 'item not received' alert from the buyer.

First mistake: listing an item of any value on ebay

Second mistake: postage

Third mistake: assuming the guy will probably scam you (despite the 100% feedback) based solely on a drink driving offence 3 years ago.

I wouldn't take lack of feedback as a tool for identifying the beginnings of a scam. I dont leave feedback for anything i buy. While you could genuinely get scammed, lack of feedback and a drink driving offence are ridiculous points of reasoning to suspect a scam.

Hang on.. It should have smelt like a con when someone paid £99.99 for 2 x Move controllers and a dock. They can be bought new for about £30!

No, you misunderstand the plot of this tale guys. The OP listed some items on eBay, some guy bought them. Then the OP googled sellers name and it turned up a drunk driving offender in a pretty rough area of Barnsley. He's on a journey of self discovery. Gripping!
