Hi all! Thinking as a gift for the old man to get him a subscription to a car mag of some sort. He often, lately, buys the classic car weekly paper thing on and off as hes on the hunt for a TR5 (i think) and has always been into his cars.

Anyone buy mags these days, if so which is the best? Helps if it has classified ads i suppose!

Practical Classics / Classic Car magazine / Classic and Sports Car. :)

Or Classic Car Weekly if he's really looking for something to buy - good mix of content and stuffed full of classifieds.

Thanks for the info, i usually get him something that he doesnt really need as hes really not fussed about xmas but thought this may be more useful!

Weekly may be the one to go for then

people still buy mags, when you can find it all online for free?

Some people just like having a magazine. I still get the occasional one when travelling about.

Oh and practical classics would get my vote if he is actually seriously considering owning a classic at some point. Classic and Sports cars was the one that I used to read when I was still in should I/shouldn't I decision making mode :p
