Eating sweet food...

Most Americans consume over 6000 calories a day. All they need to eat is two pizzas since they're fully loaded.
"Most" don't as has already been said.
How do they not? You've seen the size of the pizzas they eat and the amount of toppings and sauces?

Its not like puny pizzas in Europe.
Even a 'puny' 13.5" Large Dominos pizza can contain 2500+ calories!

Sorry, but most americans eating over 6000 calories a day is an exaggeration on the scale of me claiming I have an 11 inch willy.

Most eat no more then we do. The restaurants may serve big portions but they don't eat in restaurants every day, despite what programmes like MvF try to make you believe.

Yeah I did Carb cycling when I wanted to cut down for a holiday years ago, I enjoyed it and it helped me control my diet well, also combined it with intermittent fasting and also upping Calories on training days.

I don't think eating a bit of chocolate around training is bad at all though, your energy levels will probably benefit from a bit of extra blood sugar, I just tend to see people make a big deal about meal timing and spiking insulin or having a Protein shake within 30 seconds of training when really the bigger picture is what's important as you obviously know.

Completely. I find it quite amusing when people talk about the "anabolic window" - it's been debunked to hell now. However, hormonal manipulation either via fasting, carb cycling, sensible nutrition/supplementation and using exercise does have a notable impact on body composition and how your body adapts/reacts to the various stimuli. But let's be frank, compared to anything exogenously provided it'll hardly be dramatic - but every little helps right?! :D

My fav pizza from my local is called the "house special", its 16" and has almost every topping they do on there, i bet thats got a few calories in it :)

I used to eat 18" pizzas from time to time... No wonder I was so fat... :p

Happy to be a bit less fat now... But still fat. :D

I thought everyone who played on computers were fat until i ended up in the weightlifting section on the forum once.

I knew the world had got boring when places like McDonalds started putting up nutritional information underneath lovely pictures of nice juicy Big Macs.

I dont want to know. Just let me enjoy it please.

I rarely have anything sweet. I've gone from 392lbs July 2014 to 196lbs and 16.7% body fat (DEXA scan last week) and I follow a low carb diet. However if I do cheat and it's rare I cheat it's normally with something sweet.... last time I cheated I spent £71 in a pancake and waffle house and all my girlfriend had was one waffle and a few bites of my cakes haha.

Thats impressive, i bet that cost you a bit in new clothes :), i get annoyed when theres no cafe close to where im working so i have to go a few weeks without my morning sarnie, i end up going down a few trouser sizes and nothing fits for a while, i soon make it back up on the next job though ;)

You would be nearly 3 of me at the start being 392lbs, Jesus Christ!

Keep up the good work you doing fantastic. ;)

Do they come 3 inches thick and looking juicy because the 3 I ever had were never like the photos. That and they tasted like plastic. Cheap processed cheese, cheap sauces. They were horrid and a bit of creash glistening on the buns.

You can carp on as much as you want, the fact is, I love Big Macs.

Haha I literally had a carb coma in their booth and the staff couldn't stop laughing. Took me about a hour before I could get up, had to stop the car three times on the way home due to cramp and woke up in the night 8 times with cramp... it wasn't worth it!!!! But yea' all my nicely tight fitted tops were far too small to wear the next day!

Haha that's funny. It's mental when I look at old pictures and stuff like now I'm literally half the weight I used to be... crazy. Thanks mate I appreciate that.

I'm asking a genuine question, are they thick and juicy today? As all the ones I had and seen friends eat they always looked crushed.

I dont know about really juicy, but to me they always look like whats on the menu and they taste delicious. Never get one that looks crushed. You do realise that scene from Falling Down was an exaggerated dramatisation don't you?

Possibly depends where you go and if it was one which was made fresh or one which has been sitting for ages, but round here they generally look like a very poor anaemic sad flat looking version of what is on the menu board. :p
