Anybody have any information on what kind of, if any offers OCUK run during the normal January sales period for most retailers?

Im dropping close on £2,000 on hardware on the 2nd, and any money saved would be a massive bonus.

Not really, im rather misanthropic this year. The festivities haven't charmed, thus i am looking forward towards the new year.

January sales are really more of a clothing and gift range thing, where retailers get rid of last years lines cheaply and quickly so they can make room to introduce their new ranges. The rest of the retailers pretend to get in on it by slapping the words January sale and highlighting the usual rotating offers but that is all.

The equivalent of 'January sales' for OCuk and Tech hardware in general is the pre-release sales where models will be sold to clear existing stock cheaply to make way for their replacement models.
