Christmas shopping, how far are you?

Nealry done and tbh its a relief cos living up here there's no decent choice of shops at all.

Ill hit up eBay for some joke presents for a few people and its done 1 month early rofl...
im getting old... Gone are the days of xmas eve shopping at 3pm after a few beers.

Not started yet, and its a mission for me.

For the wife its easy but toys for the children in India is a nightmare. There are a few Hamley stores about but the range and the selection is nothing like it is in the UK. Also the online presence of toy stores is non existent....stock checks etc are impossible, so you usually have to chance it and buy whatever the hell is there. Not ideal.

A couple of years ago I ordered the stuff online to my mum's address in the UK and got her to courier it over. This however can take a month.

This year I am going to have to do the same as last year. Fly to Singapore (bolt it onto a business trip) for the weekend to complete it and luggage it back....

I don't understand the mentality of its only November, surely it doesnt matter when you buy a present if it is the right thing at the right price. Most years I am done by the first week of December, but this year as all my money has gone on a new kitchen I am not buying much if anything so haven't even thought about it yet.

need to get something for a neighbour who I speak to. Her recent ex unfortunately died in Dec, they also had a 1 year old. Want to buy a small something along with a card.

Any ideas ? I'm useless when it comes to shopping

Other than that Im pretty much done, even though Iv cheated again this year asking everyone what they want. Better to do that though than find them not liking my gift:p
