Game for my old man on the ps4

Hey

For some reason my dad has gone and got a pS4 - never pld games before so not sure why but he has a ps4 with fifa 17 - am after some old arcade games do sony or anyone make a game with loads of arcade games?

What makes you think he wants 'old' games?

I'd be mortified if my kids got me a PS4 with Space Invaders.
I'd want Medal of Honor and Battlefield even though I'd probably put it down after 5 minutes.

No but what makes the OP thinks his Dad wants old games?
I used to play the Atari 2600 andf Mattel Intellivision to death but if I got those games on a PS4 I'd be crushed.
If his Dad has asked for that stuff then fair enough.

Kind of agree, he's got a PS4 if he wanted old games he would have got an NES.

Get him something like the Last of Us for the Uncharted collection, they have good stories as well as good gameplay.

Ask him what type of games he wants to play? My dad is 66 now and enjoys cod online and Halo.

because i know my dad and he spent 2 days playing fifa with 2 teams because he didnt know how to change teams and he didnt even score.

Also because my dad loves the old games and has got the ps4 properly for his grandkids so when he is on his own he can play the older arcade games.

if i showed my dad bf1 or moh he wouldnt have a clue where to start and would hate games like that.

I didnt buy him the PS4 he went and got it last week, and its just a small xmas gift a little extra for him, as he was struggling with fifa today i just thought he wouldnt mind some older arcade type games..

Cheers for the help above he would love pac man while he is getting his head around the more advanced games.

I suppose that's the trouble with 80 year olds, so he has asked for that stuff.
They are incapable of being shown how to play the game and change teams.

A PS4 for playing Pacman - wow.

Driveclub was going to be my recommendation too and Project CARS. My nearly 70yr old dad loves them and ended up buying himself a wheel, pedals and playseat!

He also really enjoyed The Golf Club - think that comes up quite cheap now. I've enjoyed playing it too and something he can be competitive at against me :eek:

If he likes puzzles then maybe The Witness would be a good game too...

Also Pure Pool and Journey - my dad has dabbled in the latter and enjoyed it but not completed it and hasn't returned to it. He has however spent many hours in Pure Pool, also with the snooker DLC.
