Serious reply: I agree with this. Revenge is for simplistic escapism stories, not reality.

There is a value to revenge. It's a way to communicate to others that you're dangerous and slightly crazy. I'm not convinced that is useful in a scenario where you hope to find future partners.

'You came on your own. That's how you'll leave'.

Not the first time that's been said to someone.

Then that reply would be very random - surely you'd have to be a bit odd if the first reply in relation to this was to tell her to '**** off' and quibble over the years they'd been together....

Hope we get an update tomorrow

He said he has Aspergers, so it makes sense.

I'm married with 2 kids and as much as I love my family, if my life had turned out the other way I'd be equally content. Not everyone needs someone.

I don't think i'd swap one hug and "I love you" from either of my 2 kids or them falling asleep on me for a single life and plenty of disposable income.

6 years ago I wouldn't have said that though, but now, wouldn't swap it.

Not now I wouldn't obviously; I'm saying that I'd have been happy either way beforehand. Hence I said 'if my life had turned out another way'.

I'm the same. Now I have my kids I could never change anything. But if I had never had them then I'd never know about how much I love them. In that scenario I'm sure my single life would have turned out epic.

I get where you are coming from totally. I really liked my life before kids and I really like it now, it's just different. Had I not been fortunate enough to have kids for whatever reason I'd still be having a good time I'm sure.
