First off let me say thanks to all that's helped over the last few days.

Below is the spec I'd like to build but can you guys take a look to make sure it's all compatable or to see if I can change any parts to maybe save me some money??

INTEL CORE I5-6500 3.20GHZ (SKYLAKE) SOCKET LGA1151 PROCESSOR - RETAIL £219.95

ASUS H110I PLUS INTEL H110 (SOCKET 1151) DDR4 ITX MOTHERBOARD £64.99

KINGSTON FURY BLACK 8GB (1X8GB) DDR4 PC4-17000C14 2133MHZ SINGLE CHANNEL MODULE - BLACK (HX421C14FB2 £54.99

GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 1060 ITX EDITION 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD (GV-N1060IXOC-6GD) £239.99

FRACTAL DESIGN NODE 202 MINI-ITX HTPC C £128.99

Total £721

I already have a 128gb ssd and a 2tb hdd that I plan to use if they both fit in the case.

Quick edit, I think I need a low profile cpu cooler can you recommend one please.

The motherboard only has 2 ram slots though, so a single stick would allow for another 8GB later on.

Which is why I also suggested going for a 16Gb kit now. It's only a extra £25 now compared to £55 for a extra single stick in the future. I would rather do it all now than lose performance and spending more money by going for a single stick.

I didn't look at the price difference to be honest. I expected the cheapest 8GB kit to be more like £45. Everything is so expensive at the moment :(

Terrible isn't it? i5's at i7 prices, psu's shooting up as well. Just noticed the Corsair RM550x is now £94. All that money and it's only 550w!! :(

"Only" £225. It should be down around £160-170 and not the price that a i7 should be sitting at. I suppose it is what it is and none of them are good prices at the moment. It does make more sense to get the 6600k over the 6500 at current prices though even if no overclocking is to be done.

Yea I did notice that it was £5 more so I ordered that one instead, I also decided to spend a little more and get a 1tb ssd it's all coming today so looking forward to getting started on it.

I just hope it all fits in the case.

I see no reason why it shouldn't all fit. Did you go for the version that comes with the Integra psu or the case only version? The biggest problem I think you will have is GPU temps and you will need to keep a close eye on those.
