To cancel my euromillions or not

God, just imagine your numbers coming up and you didn't do it that week. All those cars you can't buy, that two bedroom Vegas apartment next door to Cosmo you can't live in, all those women you can't do at the same time, all those drugs you can't consume off said women's behinds and all those gambling losses you can't rack up. I think I'd call it a day and go into hiding. :p

My brother cancelled his then about a year later his numbers won £5m.
A bit sad if he was still checking the numbers a year later no? :p

That's exactly the reason I don't have my 'own' numbers. I just do a lucky dip every now and again. Odds are probably worse for some crazy maths reason but hey.

I once won the Euromillions three times in a row. True story :(

Yeah I'm thinking of cancelling my lottery subs as well. £12 or £15 a month depending on how many Saturdays there are in a month.

Reason being is leccy/gas has gone up £8, council tax up £2, Virgin Media up £3. Pay rise, my ass. Food prices up because of Brexit, rail faires up because strikers wanna strike etc. So it all adds up, so the lotto will probably have to go.

Cancelled my direct debit after the last increase.

I heard of one guy who got 5 numbers on the UK lottery but as the numbers were so popular the share was pitifully small.

Wasn't that when they were all multiples of 7? I think people won about £22 or something, for 5 numbers.

I have a DD for an entry each night to UK Lottery (wed, sat) and the same for a single ticket entry to Euromillions (tues/fri), given the increase in costings, and the fact you rarely win anything, I am thinking of cancelling in the new year.
Last DD they took for a single month, one ticket every draw was £42.50, I think there might be a little more than usual due to new year draw or similar.
Either way one ticket for each day, single line entry, about £500 a year.
Madness.

Poor mans tax same as scratch cards.

Cancel unless you know you will live for a few thousand years to increase your odds.

My granddad done the pools all his life and never won more than £50.

I don't do gambling at all its just a pure waste of money.

No, its fun. A gamble yes but anyone can win!
