So a good place to start would be when the problems started happening!

A few months ago my pc ssd died *the windows boot drive* so i took it to ******** to get the issue sorted as *at the time* i didnt know what the issue was, they replaced the ssd and installed windows 10 onto it, sadly i didnt have the recovery disc for windows 8!

With the pc all fixed i headed home, got home to set up my new fixed pc! Thats when i realised they forgot to give me my power cable back *i picked it up the next day, no problems*

But this is where the issues started, when i have the pc plugged into the socket and i turn the plug on, it instantly powers on the pc *im honestly not too sure if thats a issue or not* im not sure if this is because ******** gave me the wrong power cable or what?

The second issue is after my pc powers on, it works fine for about 1 minute then freezes *this happens 95% of the time* and the only way to get it working is by forcing the pc to power down then turning it back on again

Any help and suggestions would be massively appreciated!

Thanks

Can you get into the bios?

There will be an option in the somewhere to turn on with power, find it and disable it.

Once it's booted does it work OK?

Power cables are all the same, shouldn't be causing these problems.

Can you take it back to the to the repair place?
Or are they useless?

Sadly i dont want to take it back there because it was expensive the first time, ive heard windows 10 can cause freezes?

Does it freeze in the bios?
Does it freeze in Windows safe mode?

Might be worth reseating the memory sticks and gfx card since the pc has been ported about.

Though if you've paid to have Windows installed (and the shop didn't do that part of it for free) then tbh take it back and ask them why its freezing from day 1 after getting it (back) from them.
