Mustang vs Focus RS

ECOboost, awful roads, need to use back seats for 40%+ of my trips = RS.
5l V8, looks awesome = Mustang.

I'd rather greet a Mustang on my drive.

Ironically the Ecoboost actually provides more power and torque than the 5l in their pickup guises.

Ford do provide artificial noises for the Ecoboost in some cases though.:p

Also the Focus RS is still a Focus, so you'll become those people at parties insisting "but it's the RS version, not a normal Focus!!" :p

EDIT: Ah, they don't have the 3.6L Ecoboost in the mustang, rather the 2.3. Wonder why they don't have an option for the 3.6. Presumably a marketing decision?

Mustang easily. One of the guys at my work has the V8 and it sounds as good as the car looks. Which is amazing.

As somebody who has had a Mk2 ST and a Mk3 ST I would honestly rather have a MK2 RS than a Mk3 RS. The MK3 RS just doesn't look or sound as special as the MK2, whilst it's not for everybody I like the green and the "i just crashed into halfords" bodykit on the MK2.

Gosh how profound :D

He's got a point though, the Mustang is very special as every car wearing that badge has been at the pinnacle of performance and style.

Neither. Have no interest at all in hatchbacks or 4wd cars. Mustang is kind of cool, it's an enormous tank of a car though so I'm out.

I do like Mustangs, but the Focus RS is just absolutely stunning in my opinion. I'd love to be able to actually look realistically about purchasing one; maybe in 12 months or so, but for me, there's no question it'd be the RS.
