Samsung KS 7000 Alternative?

That's an 8 bit IPS panel from what I remember.... Would not be on my list tbh...

The TX-58DX902B is UHD Premium certified but costs a fair bit more than the KS7000...

If you can spend a bit more, I'd go for the 58" 902 series Panny set. I've had mine a mth and can't fault it. Brilliant tv for the price, I paid £1949 for mine but I think the price has gone up since I bought mine.

Spend a bit more? Edit : it's £800 more for a Panasonic.

SONY BRAVIA KD55XD8599BU ?

Yeah I've got that and resolved any and all issues I first had with it too. I returned a KS8000 for it because the KS8000 was just not accurate at displaying the edge of letters on windows desktop on the 2 sets I tried plus the motion was nothing on Sony. The Samsung goes a lot brighter but I play in a dark room and it hurt my eyes. Plus you don't need to think about modes for gaming with the Sony as the HDR mode has been optimised for it whereas I had to follow the eurogamer trick article to trick the KS8000 into doing gaming HDR.

What issue did you have with game mode and HDR ? Not had an issue on my 7000 and the 8000 I would have thought is similar....
