IPTV freezing and stuttering,virgin braodband

I am trying to use IPTV and it just stutters and freezes all the time, does same on TV and tablet

If I disconnect from broadband and tether through my phone all is well so it's def the broadband or router

I have 200Mb service and speedtests all seem ok

I have tried it wired and wifi and it's the same

Disabling 'Flood Prevention' on the router and turning off 'Web Safe' via your on-line Virgin Account can help to resolve issues with IPTV stuttering.
 
re router, had SH2 but was swapped for SH3 yesterday, off peak it seems a lot better

does this show anything?

varies

the provider has uploaded a test file to download, off peak 12MB peak 300K but when it is at 300K I got a mate to try it from his BT connection and he got 6MB+

speedtests always come in at 150MB+ and usually over 200

Do you get 12MB/s in peak downloading other files?
 
tried VPN didnt improve much, no real options as to ISP unless I want to pay loads for BT landline first
 
Just came across this thread. New to iptv and been testing a few services. I have very little stuttering using SH2 except on channels where i'd expect a lot of traffic due to there being a big event on that channel. Watching using the SmartIPTV app on my Samsung TV net is 150mb
