Good afternoon GD,

Thought i would make a thread to discuss some of this years most loved threads, we have had the standard 'How to life?!', 'EBAY SCAMED ME', 'armchair lawyers', 'Desk Doctors' and much much more.

So name your personal favourite threads and link it if you can find it so others may enjoy what they may have missed.

RULES

-No baiting
-No political/religious/anti-religious arguing or posting of threads which will likely turn this thread OT
-No insulting
-Keep it friendly and light-hearted



Maybe we can even get a poll going of the top ten threads if the same ones get mentioned.


My personal favourites:

'Driven over wet tarmac - whose fault is it?'

'Amazon Prime Payment Deduction'


Honorary mention to Stuff i bought thread for turning out some cracking GD phrases etc 'Corner couch is a bit chavy' and 'Your door opens the wrong way'.

Another vote for the wet tarmac one.

Fruit Ninja was funny too but I have my suspicions it wasn't 100% true.

"A regular GD'er is having an affair" was momentarily funny but ultimately most likely a troll. Exciting while it lasted though.
 
I dont think it was a troll. Would have been funny but OP started actually naming names and it got out of hand. There was clearly mal-intent regardless and I stopped enjoying it at that point

Didn't realise names had been mentioned. Also my use of the term "funny" isn't quite what I meant. "Eventful" would probably be a better word.
 
aye the independence day thread of the potential wife affair was interesting also, still want to hear the follow up to that

has the regular GDer actually posted since? someone implicated themselves at one stage, but might have just been comic injection, do we know?
 
The implication was a troll and a good one at that. A name was mentioned but the account mentioning it banned and post deleted. So that's the end of it. I find it a bit depressing to be truthful when i started to believe it wasn't a troll.
 
I found the thread where OP said something sarcastic to a delivery driver and rather upset when they got a sarcastic reply amusing.

Annoyingly I can't find it now :(.

He had it removed... :p

Something along the lines of "Only an hour and a half late then." to be met with "I can take it away again if you want?"

Don't know what he expected, but what he got was 15 pages of people calling him rude. :D

Haha i remember this!

Quality thread. OP was sarcastic and rude to the the delivery driver and then he was surprised when the driver was sarcastic back. He claimed he was too busy to wait around for a parcel (despite being an open mic night musician :D) but then was okay to faff around ringing up delivery company and retailer to throw a tantrum.
 
There was a thread where an angry student wanted their neighbors to put their lives on hold and stop renovating there house until he finished whatever exam he was preparing for
