Can you identify Bulb fitting by eye balling it

Bayonet or Screw?

I've asked the builder several times but they still haven't got back to me.

What'd'ya reckon?

looking at the picture i think its bayonet cus the bulb it slightly off center of the fitting, usually heppens when the spring is week on one side. Though it Could be screwed in wonkey.

Chances are the bulb is bayonet.

Knock on the owners and then take it out and have a look. Just a thought, why do you need know? Why doesn't the builder know?

i will say bayonet fitting as its the most comon.

It wasnt unknown to get snags on new build properties for missing lamps, of course, they had been fitted when the pendants had been fitted, but had somehow 'vanished' in the mean time :rolleyes:

To the person doing it, it might be petty, but on the flip side, someone has to come out with a box of lamps and go round and replace all the missing lamps, which is both an annoyance and a cost that has to be lost somewhere...

The low energy pendants helped in this regard, as very few others would have a suitable fitting at home

I'd never dream of buying a new build but the fact that you could buy one that's had its bulbs robbed would make me rage.

If I was buying a new house I'd like to think that someone had walked around the place, Checked everything was in order, then Locked up after them and then met with me on the day I collect keys. I find it insane that I'd have to potentially worry about picking up bulbs after I'd sunk my savings into a new house.
