$200,000 on speakers and probably twice as much for amplification and sources, and diddly squat on the room. Glass and reflective walls and flooring. LOL

exactly... the emperor has no clothes... no doubt the owner believes it sounds amazing though because he's spent all that money on it and the golden connectors, cables etc.. while completely neglecting the room, surfaces - still at least if it looks good to him/her and they can show it off to their friends then their main aim has been achieved :)

BMW m3 E30 the way they have appreciated is scarey :D

or a real pug 205 t16. haven't got half a million spare for one though :p

I just don't get how people lust after these things anymore. I went through a phase of proper geekdom and spunking money but now I really don't understand it.

The top end market in the technology sector is aimed at people with no knowledge and too much money. If you don't believe me, look at the high end Hi-Fi audio cable market.

A really big marine tank, like 2000 gallon, 90 gallon has cost me 10 grand

My current VNA only goes up to 200MHz and I've been building aerials for just over 1GHz. They're only for receiving but it would be nice to know they're actually resonant.

These aren't ridiculously expensive at around £450 but it's just out of my price range at the moment.

I once went to a clay shoot and someone turned up in a very similar Range Rover to the one posted above. Brand new with all the trim options shown in the pics above including matching fitted guns.

He missed everything he shot at and complained to the organiser that there was no point setting up stands that were impossible to hit. My friend who had just started shooting took his 2nd hand gun and hit all three stands the chap had complained about.

He got back in the car without a word and drove away. Behaved like an absolute toddler

Need to replace the old one, but 10k out of reach for the moment at least.

(replacing windows this year)

The doors are all wrong, it needs folding doors the length of the conservatory for that indoor / outdoor flow then it'd be perfect.
