Hi,

I am wanting to build a new PC. I would like to have at least some future proofing on it.
Would like to be able to play some 4k gaming too. I have never used worked with water cooling before, and pretty naive when thinking about it, but is it easy enough to work with?

The £1500 would be for the PC only, I shall have a separate fund for the monitor. I plan on buying the parts on a weekly basis.

Thanks for your time

Hi,

Do you need a copy of windows also?

As for water cooling, you can get a sealed for life AIO unit which requires no maintenance etc rather than a custom loop which you have assemble and leak test before use.

Hi, so I've been busy with my year and I did manage to get some of what was listed. Such as
Ram
Tower
Watercooler
Psu
Hard drive

I just need to get
Mother board
Processor
Graphics card

Unfortunately what was listed previously is not available now. Is there any suggestions on alternatives please. Thank you in advance

The new Kaby Lake cpu's won't be much of an improvement over Skylake. As for AMD you are probably looking at March for Ryzen.

I would go with a 1070 over a 980Ti if buying new however.
Some may say to wait for AMD's vega GPUs but they are an age away.

I agree. But it's worth seeing what the prices look like next week. Might not change, but would be sad if they cut prices of Skylake to push kaby lake or in response to what amd do.

So should I wait, because I'm pretty keen to be able to buy these parts. My old computer is flaking and makes me sad.

Just need motherboard
Graphics card
Processor
