well no matter what card I put into O2's ordering system, it kept throwing an eppi and saying the card details were wrong!

So, as my Lumia 830 has all but given up (another casualty of 2016), I sat staring at my screen pondering what to do, and I decided, as my current 3 Tarrif includes Unlimited Data, I won't need to store my music locally! so, instead of the 128Gb version, I went to OnePlus and ordered the 64Gb version and saved £50

All went through, no problems!! not sure what's happening with O2's ordering system!

Go into settings and it's in display >> display size. Brilliant feature.

Using Dev options and running 450dpi. Muchhhh better

Tried tunnel bear VPN, both Germany and Canada, no joy. After 2 seconds of being connected to Germany via opera VPN the update id there, downloading now

I may be swayed to give 500 a go, loving this - so much more use of the screen.

Using Dev options I've also killed all animations. Phone is instantaneous at doing everything.

I'm on 400dpi. Made a massive difference as stock is far too chunky for me.

500 is too much. Everything is tiny. Looks good but I feel it's overkill.

The smallest via the system settings is 454dpi. That's what mine is set at and I feel it's pretty much the limit.

It is very quick. I think the nougat update has worked very well on this phone.

Well I'm even just using the 3

It was instant before, but now after cutting out all the 'nice' animations that actually just slowed the phone down, it's faster than the speed of sound

I picked up my 128gb 3T from an O2 shop, their website wouldn't let me pay but no problems just walking in. I bought on pay as you go and didn't need to purchase a sim or credit from them (I may have fibbed about already having a payg sim).

I had apprehensions about the screen size compared with the galaxy note 3 but it actually seems to be an improvement. It's also really fast and has a great battery life.

Bought a case, some USB-C cables and a micro to USB-C adaptor, not all my chargers will charge the 3T but I can live with that.

Overall very happy

I thought about going into town to get the 128Gb version... I had the same payment problems as you (see up thar ^) But I didn't feel like taking a trip into Swindon Town Centre!!

Plus as I said above, I'm on 3 Unlimited, so I can stream my music and videos, So I saved £50 and bought the 64Gb one!

I asked O2 on Twitter what was going on with their website, they asked me to try another browser... so I told them I tried Chrome, Edge, Firefox and even Opera... none worked! I tried 4 separate cards too!! No combination worked on their website! This totally stumped them!

Got to wait a few days longer, and I think my Lumia 830 knows as it's really playing up!! crashing left right and centre!!
