Best 2.0 speakers

Let us know how they sound when you do burning in etc :). I so want to buy them but also i'm thinking about q acoustic 3020 and amp, if I can find small decent one which will fit on my desk

SMSL or Topping one will do the job. I've got a Topping which I use with a pair of Roth speakers.

£70 difference between the Steljes and QA 3020 + amp. NS3 have a built in DAC too, so if you are using onboard audio, adding a DAC or sound card might end up costing £100+ more. NS3 has Bluetooth as well.

Trustedreviews.com gave the NS3 a very good review, saying that their sound makes a mockery of the £200 price tag. For £130, that makes them great value for money I would have thought. Hard to see how the QA speakers + T amp would be worth the extra £70-£100.

If they were £200, I'd probably go for the passive speakers + amp, but for £130, they are hard to ignore.

Yes you can buy Steljes ns3 for 120£, but they come with 1year warranty, from some website I never heard of. Where q-acoustics come with 6 years from RS. Price/performance over time thy seems like a better deal its just how good will they perform as a desktop setup. I must say price for NS3 is very tempting, and you dont have to have an amp/dac cluttering your desk setup.
Hm... tough decision
