So.

I have had my Note 4 for two years, Im now bored with it.

Is there anything out there to replace it with?

I have a list of specs i would like:

- Removable Battery
- MicroSD Slot
- Screen as big as note 4 (5.7" 2560x1440)

Is there anything out there that can better it?

I am not sure there are many or even any, that ticks all those boxes :(

EDIT - a very quick Google shows some of LGs high end phones fitting the bill.

How does one get bored with a phone, what doesn't the current one do

It's constant crashing, its inability to tell me when the battry is going to go and instead dies without warning.
The constant disconnects on the internet side of things.

I'm simply just bored of the issues. I'm hoping that the newer phones don't have these issues.

Replace the battery if you haven't already. I had the same issue with my Note 4 after a couple of years whereby it would power down with say 20% battery left, went away after getting a new one.

I just moved to a cheap contract when my two years were up, as I haven't seen anything available yet that I would consider a significant improvement. Things I would want in a replacement:

-4GB+ RAM
-Good camera
-Long battery life (replaceable)
-64GB+ total storage (SD card slot fine)

I was in the same boat a couple of months ago, my contract finished & I was searching for a note 4 replacement.
I just couldn't find anything which matched it so I've gone sim only saving £25 pm until something better comes out.

As others have said, if your on the original battery think about replacing it as I had a few issues a while ago but a new Anker battery sorted it all out.

I am in the same boat. My current N4 is a brand new replacement after my previous one crapped out and it's slow at times, a little buggy and the battery is distinctly average to plain awful (I have moaned about my battery for the best part of 1.5 years on here). When I first got the Note 4, 5-7 hours SoT was easy. I typically get half that now, and have replaced the battery several times. I am convinced it's a combination of hardware and software.

I moved from my 2 year old GN4 to the GN7 and held out as long as I could. Ended up with a S7E, battery life is superb but I really really hanker after the note again.
I gave my daughter my GN4, it feels quite old now when I try to use it.

I miss my Note 4, wish I never had new gadget syndrome when I owned one else I'd probably still be rocking one.

I'd say get a cheap Chinese phone with the same features and hold out for Note 8, well that's what I'd do in your position anyways.
