Can someone identify this car? (old music video)

Can anyone identify the car at the start of this music video? I was convinced it was an E30, but the door card isn't right! And it looks a bit off.

It is driving me nuts.

Definitely not an E30. Maybe an E36 judging by the squarer headlamps and shape of the grille?

I don't think it's a BMW at all. Looks like a Nissan Primera or something similar.

Talking about the car at the start, not the one later on. I don't think its an E34, door card is still wrong. Primera GT doesn't fit either.

And this song doesn't reflect my taste in music, its a guilty pleasure.

That's the E39 - there's more than one BMW in the video, hence the specific time request.

Primera GT doesn't have the flares on the arches, and the lines (boot lid, angles on rear quarter window etc) aren't quite right, door card doesn't match up either. Though I agree it does look a bit like a P10 GT.
