What 140mm rad fans do you use?

I did research both of these for ages but have rear some bad comments about noise and unreliability.

What do you think of the corsair ml fans? Can you hear any motor noise a low rpm with your ear next to them?

I want pwm fans as I've just splashed out the the controller for that spec.

Cheers

I did not care for the Corsair ML fans at low speed as they did make a noise I found unpleasant. I've seen lots of people happy with the Phanteks though.

What about the Noise blocker brand ?

I have purchased quite a few fans over my time and have found them to be brilliant quality, just so well put together.

Solid construction so no warping noise, and blade design seems very quiet.

I have these:

I realise they are not pwm but they do do them.

That 6 year warranty isn't to be sneezed at either.

The static pressure on these is the same as what i'm trying to replace unfortunately but thanks for the suggestion.

I wouldn't get too hung up on that if noise is your main concern. Between different fans of the same type and resulting temps, you're not going to see a massive swing in temps or anything, but noise profiles will vary... even if the dB level is the same, the 'tone' of each fan will be quite different, and what you hear can be very subjective. Furthermore, how a fan interacts with the case environment and surrounding structure/materials/components can factor in. For all these reasons, it's really hard to go on someone else's opinion with fans, far more so than any other component. If I were you, I'd just get a few options and try them out, and return what you don't like.

The static pressure is the only reason i'm changing my fans. I love the sound of the silent wings 3 but just want them to push more air at the same rpm.

The extra fan in the top made a good difference so with all the fans replaced with high static pressure ones it should be great. They will idle at 500rpm and top at 1000rpm as thats where i'm happy with the wind noise.

All I want is no motor/bearing noise like the silent wings 3 but with higher static pressure to pull and push better through my restrictions.

Higher static pressure fans will push more air through objects than lower sp ones at the same rpm so similar noise but better performance.

I have the phantek SPs and i found them a bit noisy compared to the Noctuas, i've got a few noiseblockers of different types that run very quitely with them eloops been my fav but like ya said theyre not high static pressure so no better than what your using.
