Taboo - BBC1

Watched both eps last night, really enjoyed it. Some parts felt like a little underwhelming but that was possibly due to the expectation of Delaney to do something crazy at every turn.

I also like the depiction of the EITC. Ruthless capitalists who set the standard for the way the world is today.

I watched the second episode upstairs this time and through my yamaha YSP soundbar and I was at times amazed by the surround effects coming out my soundbar. So if people are having issues with the sound it's likely the fact your using rubbish speakers or source.

I saw the high sparrow from game of thrones never caught anyone else, who else is in there?

I saw the geezer from snatch personally i think his best work was as an alcoholic in "the street" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1261713/?ref_=ttep_ep5 absolutely amazing performance in that.

This does happen though a lot of actors from various shows in others. Especially if you have watched stuff like "the wire", sopranos, etc.

The show looks amazing and hardy should be the next bond IMO because Bale is getting too old now however I would prefer Bale to play Bond, albeit (Hardy) does seem to play baddies a lot better than goodies.

Who tried to kill Delaney? I couldn't tell if it was someone we'd seen before.

Brilliant show. One of the best things I've watched for ages.

The chap Delaney is living with was Jonas in The Paradise, if you caught that. Delaney's sister is the girl who played Robb's wife in GoT.

Bit odd what his brother in law did. Didn't think he would have the balls. However I was amazed by Delaney's restraint too for such brutish fella. He's obviously very smart too.

I was surprised at the fruity language in this. I'm really enjoying it though. It will be interesting to see where they go with the origins of Delaney's time in Africa.

I love the way Delaney says "I have a use for you".

It's chilling. When he says it, you know full well that you haven't got much of a choice in the matter :D
