PH has an ongoing challenge, the 100K garage. I think that's a bit rich, so my thoughts were the 30K garage! The rules are simple...

1: You have 30K to spend
2: You can have as many or few cars as you wish
3: I suggest 10 years and older is a rule due to budget
4: Most interesting wins an internet cake
5: Car ads from any source

Anyone up for it?

I'm now going to go away and endlessly search for cars I think would make for an interesting garage at that price point.

Let's have em!

Prefer it if any of them are rusting / previous write-offs / needing some work? :p

£30k is a great figure, especially with the 10 year old minimum age requirement.

All figures are estimates but should be there or thereabouts;

  • Clio 182, (2005) - £2.5k - (non Trophy, eats into the budget too much)
  • E46 M3 manual coupe, (2004) - £13k - (obviously)
  • Audi A4 Avant Quattro, auto, (2002) - £3k (replace with any estate to be honest)
  • Land Rover Defender 90 Pick Up, (2001) - £7k (grew up with my old man tinkering with either a Defender or a Series II)
  • MX-5 Roadster, manual, (2007) - £6k - (for days when I feel comfortable with my sexuality)
I figure I've got my hot hatch, GT cruiser/investment, daily, winter daily/investment and top down summer fun cars all wrapped up in there.

Will add links later.
