The 30K Garage

I'd be fairly boring about it.

£10k on a properly sorted MK2 MX5 turbo then spend the remaining £20k on a 5 Series touring of some description.

Not particularly exiting or interesting but would certainly cover all the bases

Edit: or reduce both budgets by a couple of grand each, buy a regular 5 series and add something like a Subaru Legacy for carting crap around

Hi there

Part of this garage I already have:

E46 M3 fully restored and tweaked to be great on road & track: 15-20k
EVO X FQ-300-330 Manual or SST: 10-15k

Job done, M3 as the drivers car that does exceptionally well on track and the EVO X as the ultimate all weather road car.

TT6 Manual - 20k ish (daily/unmolested example)

e46 drift **** with a 1J swap - 5k

5k to turn current supra closer to a dedicated track car (brakes/cage/harness/tyres)

I'd stick with the choice I made a few years ago;

S2000 daily driver (did get sold but I've just bought another)
Noble M12 GTO3 fun toy :)

Sadly (or gladly given I've got them) couldn't buy both of those for the £30k now but were well under budget when I bought them.

You want a rally spec car as a daily driver?:p

My commute is 20 minutes of twisty back roads, 5 min of dual carriageway and 5 minutes of industrial estate. This would certainly make it more entertaining and can't see it being that much less comfortable than my EP3 with ruined suspension :D:D:D.

Also a bit pointless when you already have a Z4M :p

Z4M is faster and you have more headroom. :D

RR Sport 4.2 as the family wagon. 15k

E46 M3 convertible. 10k

B7 A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI as a general run around. 5k
