Struggling to find any inside the UK, one i did find was to large (2 pin - 9mm). Will be used for PSU Fan.

Wouldn't then 3 pin connector just fit on the 2 pin header but have the tach wire not connected to anything?

You could also just slice the 3 pin connector with a sharp knife to remove the extra position.

Yeah it wouldn't fit, not 100% sure about cutting the fan connection.

Is the 2 pin connector different to a normal fan connector? Sometimes they'll use JST XHP-2 or PHR-2 to save space. The XH are commonplace in electronics gear and the PH are used on GPUs.

Can you run the fan off a spare MB header, or use a fan controller.

I swapped my fan and added a temperature sensor, so I can adapt the fan speed based on PSU temp

PHR-2
