Hi All,

I bought one of these a while back and the mat itself is fantastic, a great size and smooth mouse movement.
The only gripe I have is the sharp edge which goes all the way around which soon makes your arm sore, or catches on a jumper I may be wearing consistently.
My solution right now is to put duct tape over the edge.

Has anyone got any methods to smooth it out that won't damage the mat? I'm thinking some very fine grain sandpaper with a few drops of water and run it smoothly over the edges.

Has anyone had any success, or found the same problem?

Tommy

edit: wow, what incredible customer service. I have no words.

Haven't had any complaints of this nature before. Drop a message on the support forum and I'll ask them to send you out a Premium Elite one with stitched edges.

Mine does it also...

...Honest :)

I went for the new one with the stitched edges, very nice and no more issue with is getting caught under clothing.

Had this with my boogie bug and OcUK mats, but it doesn't last long. I specifically chose mine over the premium one with the stitched edges (When the stitched one was on offer and therefore cheaper) because I reckoned that would annoy me more in the long run.

Within 2 weeks, no issue.

I'm genuinely taken back by this, as was my gf when explaining this thread to her. Wow.
In no way was I sniping for a new mat or anything of that nature, or even making any kind of real complaint as I do love the product as said in the OP, please make no mistake there!

I'll make a post over there now, thank you so so much! :D
