As Maccy said money saving expert comparison tool. The best cash exchange rate will usually be the ICE in London which has queues out the door every lunchtime (used to work opposite), or if you have time get money delivered.

For the best rates as already mentioned either the Flexplus or Clarity.

Tesco is good if your local store has an exchange bureau. Good rates and convenient.

So many replies thanks guys. Yeah i just wanted the cash ready to spend on things really. There is tons of options by the looks of things so many thanks with all the suggestions.

Its a 3 night stay also so not gonna spend a ton there.

It is a small airport and not much to buy in arrivals - there are however cash machines where you can obtain cash upon arrival instead of wasting time ordering it and carrying it with you at a (likely) worse rate*.



*especially given that we're talking about HUF rather than EUR

Yeah good point dowie, i just always fear issues when going abroad and card not working etc.
Been traveling tons before but i am very much old fashioned when it comes to the currency lol.

I've used SterlingFx twice now (HUF and POL) and they've beaten any rate I've found even including the £7.50 delivery charge

I searched on Money Saving Expert last time I needed to exchange currency, and Debenhams came out on top at that particular point in time.

Yup but you're still just setting £50 on fire by not simply withdrawing cash at the airport.
