New Toyota Supra set for 2018 !

looks interesting, was wondering when bmw were going to get around to replacing the z4.

not too sure on the styling for the supra though, although i suppose that's just my general view of japanese cars anyway.
 
I think it's pretty certain. I've known for a while it was in joint development with the z5 but it'll be interesting just how toned back the looks are.
 
I don't have much faith in Toyota being able to market the car in the UK. Most of the sales teams can't even handle the GT86.

Edit: That article is 7 months old, surely we'd have more info by now if it was due for 2018?

I'd be pretty happy with something similar in details to the GT86 but proportioned like the last Supra. 6 cylinders and turbo please :D

Not going to get my hopes up though...
 
I have been keeping an eye on the various leaks about this car but afaik nothing is set in stone. It seems like there is no new info since the z5/supra testing and i thought that was all speculation tbh.

As long as they don't ruin it up ill likely buy a new supra, mostly out of nostalgia for the old quick toyotas I've had. Hopefully i can come back to this thread in 2018 :P
 
It's coming out with the new z5 isn't it.. will probably cost 50-60k and no one will buy it for the badge alone
 
But the GTR can fight against higher model 911's, the potential Supra/Z5 will be at max something against the 718 Cayman.
 
We don't know that yet. One area of the market BMW don't have 15 different cars in or compete with Merc in is*a range of two*seated cars. This is why there is/was a rumour of multiple possible Z models at different price points. So there could be a z1 z3 z5. Or they could make a new z4 then ignore it and not put a V8 in it :(
