Budget dev workstation build

I need something basic for just for doing dev work. I'm still using a q6600 with only 4gb mem at the moment! I need to be able to run a couple virtual servers quickly though, and perhaps occasional bit of fps gaming. Needs to be quiet too.

Budget: "good enough"

Do you need a GFX card? onboard might be fine for you.

What are onboard graphics like these days? Will it be run KDE Plasma smoothly? I doubt I'll bother doing any gaming so would like to skip the gfx card.

Think I'll skip the 100R too because I just remember what a pain it was stuffing the cables in it on my kids computer I used one for.
