Want to get one of these bang for buck cpus but is there any reason not to be buying the cheapest gigabyte b250 board and which 2x4gb ddr4 to buy been out of the loop for so long.

whats the catch will the cheapest b250 boards not overclock cpus or support better kabylake cpus in the future ? or something ?

GA-B250M-DS3H Intel B250 (Socket 1151) DDR4 Micro ATX
like what would be the reason not to have this board ?

The reasons for buying a high end board are:
- Overclocking
- Construction (mostly important for OCing)
- Extra slots
- Different video inputs
- Various other gimmicks by each firm (colours, accessories, etc)

Motherboards other than Z270 will not* allow overclocking. The G4560 is not overclockable.

So unless you plan to OC, that's as good a mobo as any. The RAM is fine as well.

But low end boards overclock just as fine as the high end ones I thought ?

only 1 chipset can overclock boards

the z270

however the CPU cannot be overclocked in the first place.

therefore madness to buy a z270 board. unless your planning on upgrading to another overclock-able cpu in future and overclocking that.

basically buy a cheap board but you will never be able to overclock

how comes ? so the entire b250 line dont overclock ?

nope - i already said this before above.

z270 and z170 are the only ones that can overclock.

however z170 doesn't support kabylake out the box, you need a skylake cpu and then update the bios. some mobo's offer flashing without a cpu but do you really want to take that risk? z170 is cheaper though.
