This is deuce you're replying to. The most xenophobic and ignorant person on GD.

Surely the vast majority of people would have zero sympathy with a machete wielding terrorist trying to murder innocent people in a museum?
I hope he survives so the French can question him in their usual enthusiastic fashion.

(disclaimer: he might have been an innocent fellow who was angry at being searched and just happened to have a machete on him for his museum trip, totally understandable behaviour according to some in GD)

I dont think anyone made the point that the behaviour was justified or understandable but rather that not letting him in resulted in whipping out that Trejo. I personally think he was unhinged and that he was likely going to be at the heart of an incident he purposely created eventually but lost the plot early and decided to go loco prior to that. His motives lying in between feeling like he was getting revenge for being stopped and disliking the locals because of religious/cultural/lettuce reasons

Weird incident. He had two rucksacks and a suitcase which is why he wasnt allowed to enter and stopped by the guard. That's when he drew a machete and went for the guard who then shot him.

No report of explosives found.

Looks like the guy just went nuts when his entry was blocked as he had too much luggage?

If he is a terrorist though, he was terrible at it thankfully. Carrying two rucksacks is certainly going to get you noticed.

He might be mentally ill or he might be a scumbag terrorist.

We dont know yet do we? He might have had plans to chop people up and carry them home in his rucksack.

All I stated was the facts known so far. Please tell me which ones are wrong?
