Our supermarket here just sometimes doesn't have stuff, because you know, it's not in season. And that's OK.

Well onion is much cheaper than garlic. So I paid 9p instead of about 30p

The bigger issue here is that this disproportionately affects weak European nations, if weather systems are going to continue to decline, then this will be a heavy downward trend for the likes of Spain, already in the grips of an employment crisis.
