Pension Payments - In Bank

Hello,

Solve an argument, if you are paid into a bank account is it true or false you can only get one payment per month.

I know if you are paid into the Post Office you can be paid weekly, but banks, is monthly, correct?

My wife gets a disability payment every two weeks into a building society.

I'm a 'pensioner' and you get paid straight into your bank account once every four weeks (Thursday in my case, not sure if it's the same day for everybody)

Yes i thought this, so weekly is not an option?

It's the only option AFAIK unless you have no access to a bank living on some Scottish island or somesuch in which case you'd need to contact them for a special arrangement.

If you are currently paid weekly by DB you can keep it, but if you switch to 4 weekly you can't switch back. If you're newly qualifying for a state pension, you have to take it 4 weekly.
