Looking at getting one in a few months, anything I should know?

Presume you're looking at the 8th generation civic. Factor in the cost of replacing the dual mass flywheel with the clutch if it hasn't been done already, costs around the £1k mark. There's no dpf fitted to these so no potential issues there. The panoramic roof blind guides can jam and apparently is a bitch to fix. Can't think of much else, my brothers on his 2nd and really likes them.

Oh, the standard gearknob is horrendous, change it for a Type R one

Been told to watch remaps for the sake of the clutch and flywheel.

And yeah 8th gen, good to hear they're reliable as a honda should be.

And that gearknob is certainly an eyesore.
