Valentines Day

It's really quite difficult to forget Valentine's Day given the abundance advertising / whole supermarket aisles dedicated to it / emails from companies / Facebook etc etc etc :p
 
Bounce was awesome. Gf loved it and didn't want to leave!
I love doing something different.

She made painted me a card and I painted her one. Hers was better! But both were thoughtful.
Much prefer making to buying. Mine had a lego piece, meeple, horse and bird on it for the things we love. And a big cheesey heart lmao

other half is out tonight and im home looking after our son.

got the usual flowers, card and chocolates for her. Me and my son spent a bit of time making her a card as well but apart from that not much done.

coming up to 10 years now, could have got less for murder...... :D
 
Gave a girl at work a giftbox of Malteaser Teasers because she loves them, funnily enough she'd been out looking for the same thing last night to give to me because I'd offered to stay late with her at work today, but she couldn't find them anywhere. She's had a grim couple of weeks and it made her smile, so that was all I wanted. :)
 
When I was young Valentines was for giving cards to somebody you fancied from afar and certainly not somebody who is your girlfriend/wife.
Me and Mrs Sexy have been together since 1974 and never done Valentines because of this.
 
I made her dinner, bought her flowers... but hey I often make dinner (not too much at the mo, she's been great) and bought her flowers last week (half the ******* cost I might add) as she was feeling down. So basically it's like Valentine's every week in our house.
