US: **The Walking Dead Season 7 - Contains Spoilers - No future content to be discussed **

Decent episode. Morgan is getting annoying now though; he's such a loser and one of the most boring main characters, almost up there with bible basher (don't get me started on that plonker). After everything that's happened he still wants to play Mr. Pacifist. Get out.

Mid season break, then one more episode? Why would you think that?

Not really been following episode release dates or even the fact there was a break. I saw most of the episodes in one go and then noticed Wiki said 9 total. Guess someone didn't update the page.

Also why Rick is smiling. (unless its not and its just the mad rick smile he does when he realizes hes gonna be neck deep in blood in a few seconds)

The way I saw it is that he said earlier in the episode that they were short of numbers and then this huge group appears. He is already planning on getting them to join forces and take on the Saviours.

Group that Gabriel knew. Thats why he took the food and weapons. Also why Rick is smiling. (unless its not and its just the mad rick smile he does when he realizes hes gonna be neck deep in blood in a few seconds)

I hope so, that said I can barely remember Gabriel mentioning another group, other than right at the beginning when he was carrying a lot of guilt for locking people out of the church. If they are the folk, I can't imagine they'd be best pleased to see him??

I can't see KE giving up Daryl to the Saviours considering he's the one who offered him safe sanctuary with him. I'm just guessing but I think he will be won over by Daryl, by some "deed" that protects the Kingdom.

I have always wondered why there were not any more mass traps for walker herds. The resources wouldn't be hard to find at all, it doesn't have to be complicated at all. Dig holes with spikes in the bottom, more zombie slicing mechanisms etc. As a matter of fact something that I did think would be great would be like on Half Life 2. A little motor from a motorbike connected to a head height rotating blade, place them outside the walls and just leave it running.... Chop chop chop.

Do you think the Saviours will be defeated this season? If so, I can't really see where the show is going to go afterwards? These have been by far the best enemies so can't imagine anyone else being anything other than a bit tame in comparison.

I think we are going to be on a slow burn now, certainly for the remains of this season, quite possibly the majority of the next season. (I don't read the comics at all) I think Negan is such a powerful character I can't see him disappearing quickly or easily. I think Rick will strike back but it won't be decisive so from there on the retaliations will begin.

One aspect would be remembering the location, etc. of the traps so you don't get caught up in them yourself. Defensive perimeters around the outside walls though would be another matter.

The same thing will happen as before, they'll survive for a while and then another group will come along and try and force their dominance.

Liking it but not sure I can remember who this other group is that Gabriel supposedly knew - that grin of Ricks was a knowing one though so I think whoever it is he knows the leader or it's Gabriel?

I agree but i think they will kidnap him. He will be a hostage and there will be a kindoff standoff i guess And he will rot away in THAT cell (relaxing of tensions a tiny bit) but then he will escape and do something pretty evil in doing so i think. Then we are right back at defcon 1. Things will look desperate but i reckon all the groups/communities will come together to save the day.

That will take us to season 8 mid i think or even the end of it. I think by end of season 7 Negan will be ricks hostage. It will take by the end of season 8 to have all the combined forces together against the Saviors i reckon

All speculation ofc ;)

1) I can't see them letting him live any longer than they need. 2) What would they have to gain? Their whole thing is about killing him and the saviours right now.

I think they have quite a lot to gain by taking Negan and keeping him alive, at least for a little while. They have already been speculating on many of Negan's group being subservient workers rather than actively following him. They may view it as an opportunity to trigger in-fighting within the group. I suspect some of Negan's group will turn against him covertly over the coming weeks. Dwight is already beginning to wobble.

Another slow episode IMO apart from the 'tripwire' scene..........AWESOME.

Like a battered housewife I will keep on going back to this hoping that it will get better, but its going to be a slow grind.

I cant see them getting rid of Negan at the end of this season, didnt JDM say somewhere that he was back in Season 8?

The problem with this show now is that the zombie threat is pretty much non existent. They are more of a hassle than anything else. I struggle to see where else they can go, although I am told that the content is there.....
