R8 Gone C63 AMG In !

Hi All

You may remember my R8 replacement thread.

Found a suitable replacement for the R8 V8...

Here is my new 2011 Mercedes C63 AMG 125 Edition 64k on the clock....

Private trade...

I got the car and a reasonably big amount of cash for the R8, the cash is going to be used for a new property venture so that's exciting.

I actually prefer the C63 in a number of ways and it is more practical and suitable for what I want at the moment.

Did I mention the sound? EPIC.

The sound of these is incredible - better than the R8? It's certainly more practical, but I don't find these anywhere near as special as the Audi. I guess the extra cash is a bonus. Hope you enjoy the car!

Definitely sounds better than the R8, slightly quicker and more impressive power delivery.

Loads of toys and gadgets compared to R8.

With the cash it was worth the sacrifice of the "special" feeling with the R8

The C63 is awesome in a whole other way and still grabs attention if that's your thing.

My favorite car,never had the joy of being in a 'sports car' and as i don't drive i don't think ill ever experience one,love those c63...truly epic.

It allowed me to release a good bit of funds for a house purchase and to be honest I'm already preferring the AMG, loads more toys better interior etc etc etc. The noise is just addictive also
