Just moved into a new place and to be honest, it needs a new bed so will on at the landlord straight away.

The bed slats just seem to fall out/slip out on one side of the bed at the bottom...when i took a closer look, it seems they are literally balancing with no leeway...why so short?

Also, any tips for a quick fix until i get a new bed? Did a quick google and i can buy new ones it seems...best option? :o

Had the bed been correctly assembled by the landlord?

Could be that the bed is a inch or two out of alignment causing it to have such a large space on the slats. Surely the bed would have come with perfectly fitted ones.

Yeah that's what i just thought too...pondering a way of using a spacer or something? Ideas?

As above, inspect how the bed has been assembled and consider taking it apart are redoing it. If that doesn't work then you could make some really thin splints to wedge into the gap between the slats and the slat hole. This should stop the slats moving

Sound advice, i would definitely re assemble it first sounds like it's not together correctly to me.
