New TV help... LG b6?

So I've decided to treat us to a new TV. We currently have a Sony KDL55W800B I originally purchased it due to one of the lowest input lag due my console gaming. I've now invested in a gaming monitor so no longer use it for gaming.

Not sure whether to stick to 55" or go bigger. I guess my initial thought is the LG b6 but wanted to be sure this is the best for buck. My budget is around £3k maximum. Watch mostly movies and HD shows and sports. Amp wise I have a Sony str-dn1060 hooked up to some (quite old now) tannoy speakers, I'm hoping I won't need to change these if I was to upgrade?

Not too knowledge about 4K (as got a 1080p plasma and sources) but if you have 4K sources you may need to change your AVR.
What is your viewing distance?

B6 is defitinely the best bang for buck.

Yes your receiver looks fine. Get 65" with your budget, don't even second guess unless you don't actually have the physical space. Only suggestion as your limit is £3k is that you are getting very close to 65" E6 prices which if of any interest to you is supposed to present the best home 3D experience you can get. No new OLED's coming out support 3D (It's not supported on 4k Blu-Ray either) so if you do have any 3D titles you wish to watch in the best possible way it may be worth chucking an extra £200-400 in now to get a 65" E6 or wait a few weeks for some deals as the new models start appearing and try to snag a bargain. Same will apply to the B6 as well in a few weeks time but the prices are fluctuating up and down a lot at the moment.

Just relooked at my amp, it says it has HDCP 2.2 for 4k?! Will this suffice? We currently sit 10ft away, I guess I would quite like a bigger TV then 55.

Great news, thanks. I have no interest in 3D content though, is the TV worth waiting for outside of the 3D experience?

It does have the very pretty screen on glass style 'thingy' and 'feels' a bit more premium and I believe a slightly nicer stand. It also has an LG chipset whereas te B6 has a different one, I think Realtek, but the pictures are supposed to be identical the only negative is the B6 seems to get updates later. I think they are still waiting on an HDR game mode with reduced input lag whereas the other models already have it.

But picture wise they should be identical.

Thanks, i've been reading AV forums about the B6 seems people having quite a few issues with it. Looks like the e6 might be a better purchase.
