So this year I decided to get the wife back into sharing the odd game with me after I often bomb her out for the "man cave". I managed to build her a decent rig for not a great amount of cash. Since then I have had to rebuy the games for her account and buy extra peripherals, all of which I had not factored in to the initial build cost and now the cost is starting to spiral. To make matters worse, the bargain second hand motherboard I used for her failed last week and I have just had to spend another £100 on a replacement... so the big question is... is she worth it?
I mean, shes always getting killed, putting me in danger having to go revive her in whatever game we play and she has to use a controller, which since the steam update is a pain in the backside because it insists my X1 controller is a steam controller. Maybe I would have been better off keeping her out of my gaming life?
Nah, Its actually enjoyable, I recommend it!
