To be fair when you looked at the stats it was only a couple more sprints than the next couple of games down in the list, which were also home games against top sides (Chelsea and Man City - they haven't played Spurs at home yet). It wasn't like he'd done an extra 10 sprints or something, and as the pundits pointed out it was a weakness of Liverpool, even Vardy said in the interview that the manager had told him to focus on runs in behind. So in summation:
-Vardy usually does a lot of sprints in home games against the best teams in the league
-Vardy had been explicitly given a tactic to do a lot of sprints in this match
-Liverpool were playing two midfielders on the left side of the defence both of which can arguably be exposed by pace
We were shocking in all departments last night not one played tried totally useless, felt for lucas he can not play cb and it's even more pointless when we have a cb go play. Can was again the most useless of the lot. Can't belive this season has gone so wrong.
Can was our best player. It's not saying a lot but he was.
Sakho was let go because he's a tool and Allen isnt good enough. Had we had Henderson last night then i suspect the result would have been different but hey ho.
Because they were well up for it, motivation seems to be the problem at Liverpool which is why they can crunch out a draw at Chelsea and thrash Tottenham but lose stupid games like this.
I dunno, i think it's been touched upon by several Liverpool supporters that they've lacked depth. Those players could have certainly helped i feel.

Sorry but no, Allen would have been better than Can based on his performances this season, Sakho again would have been better than Lucas at CB or Klavan.

If it helps the village idiot (the one with a trophy cabinet, not the one who lost to Gent in the Europa league) has a 0.05 ppg at LFC then Poch does at Spurs. When you think spurs have that defence and an inform striker it isnt that much better is it.
