Mobile World Congress 2017

despite the questionable vertical bezels the Sony XZ Premium is catching my eye - really interested to see what sony have done with their camera software / UI as that was a massive weak point on the last xperia i used.
 
man now i'm torn, if the nokia 6 had a 5000mah battery it would be perfect.

hardware buttons, dual speakers, what should be an ok camera, and fairly low internal specs, stock android, and cheap price.
 
As a self confessed phone-alohic there's nothing exciting at this year's MWC that has made me want to buy a device at release day.

The Nokia 6 is an interesting proposition and it seems like great VFM.

I'm not interested in spending hundreds of pounds on a flagship device and I'm content using a decent mid range device.

Mobile phones have hit a ceiling in terms of tech and I'm not sure how far OEMs can push the envelope.
 
Yup my 5x is crying out to be replaced now but nothing has tempted me at all largely because they aren't stock android/google phones :p The slim bezels for some of these phones look epic though. Roll on the pixel 2! :D

It's been mentioned by a few sites:

"Unfortunately, the P10 doesn’t have a separate audio DAC, where you’ll have to rely on the Kirin 960’s system-on-chip (SoC) audio chip for music."

Motorola have gone from one of the best at pushing updates to probably approaching the worst. This is all down to Lenovo. As you say android is just about stock with a few Moto apps, so why the delay? I suspect they rather you bought a new Motorola with latest android than bother to push 7 out to older phones. I still have an X Style and rumour says a few months yet untill it gets Nougat. It wasn't a bad phone but a look on XDA sees waining interest. I'm currently using a Galaxy S7 which I much prefer so have no idea why I hang on to X Style :rolleyes:
