False Widow? or normal house spider (spider within)

Ok heres a genuine question for you guys, is this a false widow, ive tried to capture it best i can, but its jumpy and seems quite hungry lol

False widow! I had one too, they are friendly

Does it have red markings on the top?

No red markings, its more or less like a brown mottled, with stripes, black glossy body, not hairy like most pictures ive seen.

Very similar markings, this one is more spread out and less uniform....i cant get close to the bloody thing to kill it however, it knows im coming and runs off lol

I didn't kill one I had. And thought it was awesome. It seemed happy enough

But yeah, pretty sure mine was one. I don't think they look exactly alike

Just don't pick it up and poke it and you will be ok. They are not agressive, usually hide and actual bite reactions (if it was a widow, as bite victims rarely know how to identify the spider or catch it) are usually due to allergic reactions.
I would happily pick one up.
