I have this drawer:

It's my spice drawer. But it is stuck. A jar of spices have become lodged and it now won't open more than about 2mm! I have tried shaking it until near breaking, but nothing is budging.

How do I get in there!?

There are no screws to remove the rails by going in through the adjoining drawer space.
All other screws are internal.

Help.

Can you slide something long and thin in when it's slightly open?
A steel ruler, stiff wire or similar?

Otherwise you may have to break it, try and find some screws you can undo whilst the drawer is closed that will give you access, or lift the worktop.

If all else fails you could offer up a prayer to Anoia.

try opening the bottom door and reaching up from underneath to the back of the drawer and see if you can move anything around from the back. Might give the jar enough space to open the drawer then.

This, give it a poke

now invest in some "draw" (ie anything that fits nicely) jars that stand up and preferably square so they sit nicely together and stick labels on the top.
